Expansion Draft Rules

Based on last year, will be updated once MLS publishes 2007 rules.
  1. The draft will be 10 rounds
  2. Each of the 13 teams can protect 11 players, Senior and Development rosters,
  3. All Generation adidas players are exempt (protected beyond the 11 designated)
  4. At most, 1 Senior International can be left unprotected
  5. Each of the 13 teams can lose no more than 1 player (3 won't lose any)
