To make the groupings fair, the teams will be ranked from 1-48 based on week 2 standings, then divided into 6 blocks of eight: 1-8, 9-16, 17-24, 25-32, 33-40, 41-48. One teams from each block of 8 will be randomly drawn into each group A-H.

Tie-breakers for initial ranking will be:

  4. Standings after week 1
  5. Random selection

  2. MFLS Point differential (PF-PA), total round
  3. RevMFLS standings at end of round (YTD pts)
  4. Seeding at beginning of the round
